A Call From Prison
The People’s War of Nepal was initiated by our Party, Communist Party of
Nepal (Moaist) on Feb. 13 1996, has now reached to a crucial stage of
strategic offence. Most of the country side have been liberated and is under
the control of new people’s governments and pitch fight is going on in the
cities for the final victory. It was only possible because of the correct line
of the party and active participation of the masses. Unable to understand the
revolution , the absolute and despotic monarchy of Nepal is crying for help
with the big powers thereby sending its handpicked ministers abroad with their
cups in hand to collect money, weapons and all sorts of military “aids”.
Our Party is always trying to bring out advanced way out through peaceful
negotiation in order to end blood shed. But the regime which has completely
lost support and confidence of the people of Nepal always stands for military
solution of the prevailing economic, social and political problems and likes
to fight a war of extermination. Thus the genuine proposals of finding out the
peaceful solutions has always been spurned by the regime. It is obvious by
numerous events that present absolute, despotic and treacherous monarchy of
Nepal is trying to the halt to turn the clock back and thereby lead the
country to regression. Even knowing well about these facts, some big powers
are trying to embroil themselves by supplying all kinds of military “help”
and “assistance” to the tottering regime in excessive amount. Thus
inspired and bolstered by external “assistance” and “help” the hated
regime of Nepal is discarding all peaceful process and preparing exclusively
for the war of extermination. Thus this military “help provided by the big
powers is sure to be for killing the toiling masses of Nepal in thousands
thereby giving rise to genocides. Therefore, it is high time for the people of
the world to raise their voice for “NO” to the fatal military “help”
and “assistance” and should be opposed as absolutely unjust. Those who
dream that the People's “Revolution” in Nepal can be suppressed by the
arbitrary use of modern weapons and military strength should think twice and
retrospect. It is the people who win not the weapons. Victory of the Nepalese
Revolution can be guaranteed from the facts that (I) it is neither a
spontaneous rebellion nor any kind of terrorism; it is well known people’s
revolution led by the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), which is guided by
the scientific ideology of Marxism, Leninism, Maoism and Prachanda Path;
advancing through concerted plans and programme, (ii) It is a people’s
revolution actively participated by the millions of Nepalese People, (iii) it
is a revolution safeguarded by highly conscious and battle tested People’s
Liberation Army, (iv) it is enjoying broad world wide support.
It
is a high time for the people of the world to express solidarity with the
revolution of Nepal more than ever before, which when accomplished will be an
outstanding event of world history, first successful revolution of 21st
century. Forging unity and solidarity of the people of the world for this
cause is a task of prime importance. I like to make a solemn call and implore
to all revolutionary forces and justice loving and struggling people of the
world to come out with all support and assistance to the ongoing historic
people's revolution of Nepal which can make a tremendous contribution in its
glorious victory.
The
events of our capture and detention can be considered or may be a loss but not
a set-back for the world revolution or the revolution of Nepal. Every
revolution entail such events. Revolution will triumph! People are invincible!
