Regional Bureau in charge and coordinator of the Military Commanding Co-ordination Committee of the Seti-Mahakali, (S-M) region of the People’s Liberation Army, PLA comrade Prabhakar of the Communist party of Nepal (Maoist) has issued an statement on 18 October, clarifying the ground reality of the war between the PLA and the reactionary Royal American army. Royal American Army has always been concealing the defeats and humiliation of its own side that it has been receiving from the PLA and the Nepalese people. At the same time, it has been magnifying the casualties of the PLA, killing unarmed people and propagating that Maoist has been killed in the encounter, and distorting facts so that they hope to assemble the crumbled morals of the soldiers in the reactionary Royal army. In the statement comrade Pravakar said, “the forceful actions of the People’s Liberation Army, S-M Third Brigade against the Royal American killers who have been roaming around in the villages killing unarmed civilians, has been scaling qualitative heights one after another.”

In the statement it is also said that in the encounter of Gaura area of Doti district on 15 October, the S-M Third Brigade wiped out 20 Royal army personels and seized from the Royal American army one LMG , 11 SLR (self loading rifle), two M-16 (American exported weapons aiming at to kill the Nepalese people quickly), three SMG, a supply of M-36 grinades, and more than 10 thousand rounds of bullets of those rifles. Those Royal American terrorists of the Shamsher Dal were on patrolling from Daha military barrack from the district of Dadeldura, far western Nepal. The statement said, “the Royal American murderers, who has been defeated in the close-quarter fighting has either attempted to hide its defeats through out the country and mainly in the S-M region, or it has been hiding the reality and propagating the facts of the battle and distorting to its favour and concealing defeats of its own side”.  The statement has also reminded that in one encounter of 28 September in the same area, 12 Royal terrorists were wiped out and two military vehicles were destroyed. Similarly, 41 Royal terrorists were wipe out on the first week of September in Kailali district. These all areas come under S-M regional military command.

In the statement, comrade Pravakar urged the son and daughters of the Nepalese people who have been fighting on behalf of the reactionary Royal army to rebel against it, and fight for the liberation of the oppressed Nepalese people.

While the reactionary state media has been blacking out the facts of defeat and humiliation of the Royal murderers, the statement challenged, the reactionary old state, “we challenge the Royal American army headquarter, which has been bragging bravery by killing the unarmed civilians in the district of Acham, dare to bring all facts of Gaura action, before the people.

While the Royal American army has been bragging of bravery by killing unarmed civilians, students, peasants, rapping students and women in the villages, and arresting and disappearing citizens randomly, the atrocity of the Royal American murderers has been criticised even by the government itself. Spokesperson of the Nepalese Defence Ministry Bhupendra Paudyal said that the government is examining some of the cruelty of the Royal army atrocities, Krishna Shen Sambad Samiti, KSS reported. The spokesperson further stressed, “a lot of complains from the people have come to the Ministry that the army has arrested citizens illegally, detained extra judicially, lied to the court; and the Army Headquarter has not been notifying the Ministry nothing about these”, KSS reported on 18 October.

In the meanwhile, Maoist revolutionaries have been intensifying actions against highest ranking reactionaries and institutions of the reactionary old state. “The Maoists overnight blew up the ancestral home of Army Chief Pyar Jung Thapa in Nawalparasi, reports the nepalnews.com of 19 October. Nawalparasi is situated at the central inner Terai region of Nepal. KSS reported that Maoist revolutionaries have completely destroyed the house of the chief of the terrorist organization under the signboard of Royal Army, by which people of that areas have been very, very happy. Similarly, the valiant Maoist revolutionaries have taken the Gorkha Brewery Company and the TATA mobile under control. Since the resumption of the military conflict after the end of seven-month ceasefire, most of the reactionaries have been flushed down from the Terai region just had happened in the hilly regions in the past years. In the course of people’s war, the reactionaries, imperialist agents, local gentries, moneylenders and feudal tyrants had been driven out of the villages in the past years.

The desperate reactionary regime of Nepal, hunting Maoists revolutionaries and killing people has also not only been intensifying arrest, disappearance and torture of the people, it has also suffering the patients in the hospitals receiving treatment since they got wounded on military assaults. Kantipur daily of 19 October reported that ‘three injured students who had been receiving treatment at Bheri Zonal Hospital have been referred to other hospital’. Those students were injured at the military assault in premises of the higher secondary school in Siliguri, of Doti district, far western Nepal, while Royal terrorists opened fire over ongoing cultural show. It is noteworthy that the Royal murderers killed into cool blooded 20 people including the members of the cultural team and the students – a class 6 student aged 11, a class 7 student aged 12, a class 11 girl-student was arrested and aimed the bullet over forehead and shot-down to death for her being a member of the student organisation (Revolutionary), and other two students of aged 14, and one aged16.

The reasons why the students are being discharges are not disclosed. Doctor Nirmal Chanda Biswash, involded in the treatment of those students said, “Despite progress in the health recovery, they are forced to refer because of inquiry from different sections” of Nepalese reactionary authority.

The reactionary army had arrested a farmer, ploughing field in Parsa district, eastern Nepal, and shoot him dead on the spot. While many arrested sympathisers have been being disappeared, they have also disappeared a member of United People’s Revolutionary Council comrade Chaturman Rajbanshi. Comrade Rajbanshi had been arrested by the Indian government last year and handed over to the Royal killer recently; the Royal Army has disappeared him including four others.

Despite Royal reactionary terror in the country, Maoist revolutionaries have been driving out the Royal terrorists, wiping them out one by one and providing security of the people. Nine Royal American army were killed on 17 October, falling on a booby traps laid by the Maoist revolutionaries in the different districts in Sindhuli, eastern Nepal, Palpa, central Nepal and Dadeldhura, western Nepal. 20 other Royal terrorists have suffered injuries. Out of those wiped out nine Royal terrorists, three were killed in Bhiman of Sindhuli, 10 other injured there; three, including a sub-inspector of police, were killed in Bhusal Danda of Palpa, and three other were killed at Ghanteshwor area of Dadeldura. These Royal terrorists who were killed at Ghanteshwar were the killers of the students at the cultural programme in Doti district.

Maoist revolutionaries have taken three Village Developing Committees, VDCs of the old state in control and destroyed them, in the district of Dhankuta – the home district of the existing Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa of the reactionary old state. It is noteworthy that Maoist revolutionaries had already expropriated all estate and property of the Prime Minister and his henchmen reactionaries. Henceforth, people’s administration has been established in those VDCs.

Some of the Maoist actions in nutshell since 11 October-

11 October, major offensive over militarised police base at Kushum western Nepal. In this battle, Maoist revolutionaries have destroyed the outer circle of the militarised police base and penetrated to the inner-circle. This is a highly fortified, equipped with sophisticated weapons and supported by the night-vision equipped battling helicopters.

13 October, major attack over militarised police training centre at Bhaluwang, western Nepal – some 85-100 kilometre distance from Kushum. In this battle, 12 Maoist revolutionaries were martyred at the battle, 25 reactionary police were killed. Valiant People’s Liberation Army seized one LMG, seven SLR, seven 3-0-3 rifles from the battle. However both of these offensives – the offensives of Kushum and Bhaluwang – could not wipe out the highly sophisticated, fortified and equipped militarised police bases, the PLA had launched a major offensive qualitatively higher, and of political and military significance.

15 October, 20 Royal Army were wiped out at Gaura area of Doti (see above). A police constable was killed of Kolti base camp in the same day in Bajura district, western Nepal.

16 October, Royal terrorist encircled the villagers at Jadiganu of Achhamdistrict western Nepal, and killed 25 unarmed civilians. But the Royal army propagated that those were Maoist fighters wed was the training camp, thus army destroyed that. On the same day, two police constables were killed at Duhabi town of Sunasari district, eastern Nepal. One another cop was killed and two other Royal army were injured critically while Maoist launched a commando attacks as they were conducting scrutiny over bus passengers. Maoist revolutionaries seized weapons from them.

17 October, nine army and police were killed while they fall over booby trap laid by Maoist revolutionaries (see above).
