MAOIST REVOLUTIONARY ARRESTED!

COUNTER – REVOLUTIONARY MEASURES OF INDIAN GOVT!

On august 20, 2003 comrade Chandra Prakash Gajurel (Gaurav),a senior politbureau member of Communist Party of Nepal(Maoist) has been detained in Chennai Airport, Tamilnadu. He was on his way to Europe with the decision of his party for their propaganda works.

In Nepal, Maoists have waged an armed struggle against the brutal monarchy and are fighting for a new democratic social setup. In the past Nepal Monarchy and the Royal Nepal Army has massacred many communist revolutionaries and if Com.Gaurav is extradited to Nepal Govt, it will endanger his life.

The Indian Govt is helping the Nepal Monarchy in suppressing the revolutionaries by supplying arms and by sending its Army personnel for charting strategies. The present Fascist state Govt of Tamilnadu with its Chief Minister J. Jeyalalitha is a step ahead by adding the ‘Nepalese Association of Tamilnadu’ in the list of Terrorist Organisations and threatening the poor Gorkhas in the name of enquiry.

When Dalai Lama throng flee to India following the peasants land struggle in China’s Tibet, the Indian Govt not only gave them Political asylum but donated them with grape yards and tea estates. The treatments differ because Dalai Lama throng is Counter-revolutionary while Com.Gaurav is fighting against the Nepalese monarchy and the Indian hegemony.

Hence the immediate task for the revolutionary, democratic forces all over the world is to raise their voices exposing the reactionary-counter revolutionary Indian Govt to release Com.Gaurav unconditionally and not to extradite him to Nepalese butchers.
