News from the battlefield Regional Bureau in charge and coordinator of the Military Commanding Co-ordination Committee of the Seti-Mahakali, (S-M) region of the People’s Liberation Army, PLA comrade Prabhakar of the Communist party of Nepal (Maoist) has issued an statement on 18 October, clarifying the ground reality of the war between the PLA and the reactionary Royal American army. Royal American Army has always been concealing the defeats and humiliation of its own side that it has been receiving from the PLA and the Nepalese people. At the same time, it has been magnifying the casualties of the PLA, killing unarmed people and propagating that Maoist has been killed in the encounter, and distorting facts so that they hope to assemble the crumbled morals of the soldiers in the reactionary Royal army. In the statement comrade Pravakar said, “the forceful actions of the People’s Liberation Army, S-M Third Brigade against the Royal American killers who have been roaming around in the villages killing unarmed civilians, has been scaling qualitative heights one after another.” ( for more ) RELEASE COM. C.P. GAJUREL (GAURAV) We have been brought to notice that Comrade C.P. Gajurel (Gaurav), a senior Politbureau Member of CPN (Maoist), has been detained and captured by the Indian Security forces from Chennai airport on August 20, 2003 for traveling with suspected fake passport. He is still under unjust confinement to this day. Com. Gajurel, who has been long discharging the international duty for the CPN (Maoist), was proceeding towards Europe for regular Party work .
